Master Software, Inc. recognizes that creating software is a process that requires more than just conversion of technical requirements into computer code. Code must be reliable and maintainable. A lot of the Y2K challenges facing government and industry show that code persists a lot longer than any of its creators foresaw. The code must stand on its own over long periods of time with many changes and enhancements over that time.

Master organizes and writes code not only for function, but for clarity. Revision control, descriptions of what the code is doing, selection of standard POSIX Code libraries whenever possible, common exits, proper exception handling and re-enterability in a known state are key considerations in Master's coding and application development. Our goal is coded applications that last and grow.

Master Software has led or been a principle contibutor in coding efforts in C, C++, PASCAL, BASIC, SQL, FORTRAN, Java, J++, HTML, PERL, PL1, Assembler and many specialized languages. Our systematic language experience has allowed us to quickly master many specialized proprietary languages that are not in the mainstream of computer languages.
